As part of the transition to the new standard ISO 37001:2025, and in accordance with the decision of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF MD 30:2025), we would like to inform you that a two-year transition period has been established for the implementation of the new standard. Specifically, the following applies:
- The transition period for migrating from ISO 37001:2016 to ISO 37001:2025 ends on 28 February 2027.
- Upon expiry of the transition period, all certificates still issued under ISO 37001:2016 that have not been transitioned to ISO 37001:2025 will be suspended or withdrawn.
- Certificates issued or renewed under ISO 37001:2016 during the transition period remain valid until their expiry date, within the standard three-year certification cycle, but no later than 28 February 2027.
- Organizations holding ISO 37001:2016 certificates may transition to ISO 37001:2025 during their surveillance or recertification audits, upon prior written notification to our certification body.
